Nicolas Gros and Marine Lozet-Gros, the current sixth-generation owners, took over the reins of this French family business a few years ago. Drawing on their family heritage, they have breathed new life into the knitwear specialist with their modern touch and emotional appeal.
At the time, it was a silk thread factory near Saint-Sauveur-de-Montagut (southern Ardèche), which shifted its focus after the war to knitwear, starting to produce knitted sweaters and polo shirts for men and women.
Today, the company is undergoing a new transformation and giving rise to Maison Montagut.
