Kusmi Tea

In 1867, Pavel Kousmichoff founded the eponymous tea house in Saint Petersburg. Success was immediate, and Kusmi tea soon became a favorite of the Tsars. In 1917, the Kousmichoff family set up shop in Paris.

The company prospered from father to son, in Europe and internationally, before being bought out in 2003 by Sylvain and Claude Orebi. The two brothers, specialists in the coffee and cocoa trade, recognized Kusmi Tea as a sleeping nugget, and decided to take over the reins to make it the benchmark premium tea brand worldwide.
Thanks to its expertise, the company now boasts 75 teas and infusions, from the most classic to the most original, all made from carefully selected raw materials and produced in Normandy using traditional French craftsmanship.
