Environmental sustainability and social commitment

Responsible shopping! Preserving the environment and combating global warming are fundamental challenges of our century. One Nation Paris Outlet has made an unrivalled contribution in the world of outlet centers.

Respect for virgin soil and land

One Nation Paris Outlet

The center was built in an urban environment on a brownfield site, whereas most outlet centers are located in the open countryside. As instigators of responsible shopping, we imagined a one-of-a-kind center.

What's more, since One Nation Paris Outlet is built on an elevation with underground parking lots, its footprint is 6 times smaller than that of other single-storey centers.

Overall, more than 12 hectares of virgin land have been preserved.

One Nation Paris: the most environmentally sustainable of the Outlets!

Responsible shopping: CO2 emissions reduced by 80%

One Nation Paris Outlet

Air conditioning and heating of malls and common areas (80,000 M3 on average) are the main sources of C02 emissions for shopping centers.

One Nation Paris Outlet, with its open-air architecture and room-temperature mall, doesn't emit a single gram.

In addition to being a friendly and pleasant environment almost all year round, this open architecture, by avoiding heating and air-conditioning the mall and the center's common areas, enables the brands present there to make significant savings on charges (over 2,500,000 euros per year) and thus to always offer the lowest possible prices to the center's customers. An economy of solidarity, in a way.

Open-air architecture is THE solution: it preserves the environment and your purchasing power at the same time. The recipe for truly responsible shopping.

Rainwater harvesting and so much more

One Nation Paris Outlet

A glass roof covering the entire length of the center's display windows not only provides comfort for customers, but is also an attractive way of collecting rainwater. This water is used to water the green spaces (inside and out), to clean the center and for the toilets.

Then there's LED lighting, the use of raw materials (concrete, glass, steel) to avoid CO2-intensive processing and ... so much more.

Our aim is to make the One Nation Paris Outlet a benchmark in terms of respect for the environment, and we're delighted that it will be a source of inspiration for shopping centers the world over.
